Mommy & her girls!!

Holy cow, where have I been in the blogging world? I'll tell you where, up to my eyeballs all Kaycee & Kodie! I know it has been forever since I posted last, so I think I may do a couple to get some pics of my beauties up here! My parents, myself and the girls went to Sacramento clear back in April and I thought i would post a couple of pics from the trip. We really had a great time and Kaycee loved visiting with her cousin Emma, not to mention the airplane ride! Kodie didn't seem to be bothered by that part either! We visited with Emma and her momo Candace, my Aunt Patty and Uncle Glen and just took time to unwind, which was really nice condsidering the circumstances going on back then. Anyway, here are some pics!

Little info...

Well, not too much going on onver our way. Just muddling through. Chad seems to be doing ok. He has his good days and bad days. It is really too bad things had to end up the way they did. But all we can do is do the best we can and move on. We are getting ready to goto Koosharem this weekend and just get away from things and take a long breather. It will do us all some good to just relax, Chad can fish and vent some steam by taking out a bunch of rabbits with his new gun. Thanks to all for the support and love through this awful time our family is going through. On a lighter note, the girls are doing great! Kodie is on the verge of walking, she is just such a little chicken! She wants to so bad but doesn't quite have the confidence to do it! Kaycee is "little miss thing" thinking she is in charge of everything and everyone around her! I have to keep telling her to quit bossing her sister around! She is not the mom I am and it is not her job to always tell Kodie what to do all the time! She is just too smart and fiesty for her own good. Hope you all have a safe and fun weekend!

In Loving Memory...

This is probably the hardest post I will ever put up here, but I am so sad to say that my dear dear father-in-law has passed away. He was an amazing man and I am so sad my girls will not have the opportunituy to know their Papa Housley. He loved, adored and was so proud of his grandbabies, it is hard to even proccess that something like this awful tragedy could ever happen. I know he is watching over all of us now and loves us so much. Please pray for my wonderful husband and his family as they try to cope and move on with their lives....I love you Kevin!!

Happy Birthday Kodie Bear!

Happy Happy Birthday to my little Kodie Bear! I can't believe she is already 1 year old! She is doing great! Not walking yet, but on the verge! We had her party at Toad's with all of our family! It was nice to get together, even though Chad's mom is still in the hospital (hopefully things will start to get better)! Kodie loved her B-day cake and Kaycee loved all of her new toys. Great, something else to fight over!
Lovin' her cake!

The Fam! Kaycee has already taken control of her new baby!

Kodie Layne VS Girl Scout Cookie Round 1

So this is what happened when I gave Kodie her first thin mint girl scout cookie! She had cookie EVERYWHERE! I didn't know such a little cookie could make such a huge mess! It was so funny! It was in and behind her ears, her hair, her sweater, her pant legs and her socks! I think the cookie won this round, but by the look on her face I don't think she really cares!

Big hair and earrings!

Kaycee got her ears pierced last week and is absolutely loving them! She has done really well with them and has had to remind me a couple times that they need to be cleaned when I forget! She was so brave and didn't even cry! She got to pick out some earrings to wear when we are able to take these ones out. She has been asking us "when she wsa going to get her ears punched", we were at the mall and Chad and I thought well, what they hell and did it! It was a total spur of the moment kind-a thing. This hairdo of hers is what happens when Chad combs it all out after it has dried. Talk about an afro! I wonder where she gets that from?? I can't believe how big my little girls are getting!

Kodie is getting everywhere and into everything faster than I can keep up! I can't imagine what it will be like when she starts walking...then running...oh Lord help me!
